Tiling and Remodeling

Tanner just finished a major renovation on our 1990's home near Polson, and what a fantastic job he did for us! We are so happy with the end result. Tanner is a hard-working, honest, conscientious, capable, highly skilled, meticulous renovation specialist. He has an amazing wide variety of skills, allowing him to do just about any job that a renovation project would require. He saved us a lot of time and expense not having to hire sub-contractors (except the electrician). He replaced part of our roof; replaced/reconfigured the deck (largely re-using the solid old deck wood to save us on costs); gutted and renovated three bathrooms, which involved a fair bit of artistic tile work and lots of plumbing problem-solving. He installed 3.25" red oak hardwood, and matched it perfectly to the existing flooring, then sanded, sealed, and finished both floors - you can't even see that they are old and new floors. One of the biggest projects was to take an empty wall and craft it into a wood-burning fireplace and floating shelf alcove which has become a beautiful focal point of the great room. Tanner attentively listed to our vision, input, and feedback, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. An interesting thing happened during that part of the project: when we were at Anderson's Masonry in Missoula buying the woodburning fireplace, the salesman said we'd probably have to pay the installer for 2 trips to Polson, because the majority of the time the framing was not done properly, forcing the installer to make another trip. Well, that was not a problem for us, Tanner had it framed-in precisely according to instructions. There were a multitude of things Tanner did for us in addition to the above: installed new appliances, carpeting, baseboard trim, exterior window/door trim, lighting, Bali Roman and cellular window shades, and curtain traverse rods ... plus so much more. Tanner is very open to discussion with his clients and responsive to their requests. He's also creative in finding solutions to problems. During our renovation, we encountered an excessive number of unexpected problems, all of which Tanner resolved like a pro. We highly recommend Tanner for any renovation project you might have.
